The Canadian Model Forest Network (CMFN) is a national organization with members across Canada. We have a vast range of knowledge and views of forest issues, informed through our diverse partners. Drawing on this expertise, we established seven national programs. While broad in scale, their focus is on addressing local concerns.

Today, forests and their communities are facing major challenges. We offer information, to assist them in finding opportunities. This may be from exploring new sources of income or changing current business practices. We also develop tools for communities. These can be used to assess if they are prepared for the future and provide ways to improve, if necessary.
